Teachers will continue in the Teachers’ Retirement System.
They will also be eligible for orthodontic care, with a reimbursement of 50 percent, with a $2,000 lifetime maximum. They will be eligible for dental coverage, with reimbursement of 80 percent for reasonable and customary care, with a $2,000 yearly maximum. In the remaining years, the district will pay teachers at step 22, or 22 years and beyond a lump sum of 1 percent of their base salary for the previous school year.Īll teachers will be included in the district’s health insurance plan and pay 22 percent of the yearly premiums. For school year 2019-2020, the district will pay all teachers at step 18, or 18 years and beyond, a lump sum of 1 percent of their annual base salary, under the contract.
